Martin property owners could be forced to control bees and mosquitoes

STUART — Martin County residents will get their first look tomorrow night at a proposed new weapon in the war on bugs.

County officials will hold a hearing Tuesday night to get public input on a proposed new ordinance that would place more of the burden for controlling mosquitoes and "killer" bees, on property owners.
